Short-Term Committees

The PWC short-term committees are more like task forces. They are formed for a specific purpose and duration of time. Each is comprised of a certain number of general members and a certain number of board members.

Grant Committee

This committee is typically formed in October-November. The committee will establish the criteria for the awarding of grants which takes place at the December lunch meeting. They will evaluate and rate each application received and determine the amounts to be awarded and whether applicants are eligible.

PWC Grant Eligibility

All PWC members are eligible to apply for a PWC Grant. The Grant application will be completed and submitted online. The actual Grants are awarded in December. Applications will be reviewed by the Grant Committee and recipients will be evaluated in the following areas:

  • Involvement in PWC
  • Regular attendance at PWC Meetings and other PWC Events
  • Participation in PWC Community Projects
  • Chamber Involvement by the member

 Grants can be used for:

  • Educational Purposes – workshops, seminars, etc.
