April Murdaugh

April D. Murdaugh is the Assistant Director of Nova Southeastern University’s Jacksonville campus. April is responsible for recruitment and enrollment of undergraduate and graduate students primarily interested in education degrees. April has in excess of fifteen years of higher education experience having worked in public and private colleges focused on International Education Exchange, International Human Resources, Institutional Effectiveness, and Enrollment Management. She has a BA from St. John’s University, an MS degree from Southern Wesleyan University, and currently pursuing a Doctorate in Organizational Leadership from Nova Southeastern University.

She is also the host of the radio show The Economic Power Hour on WCGL AM 1360 in Jacksonville, FL and owner of The Economic Empowerment Center, LLC a company committed to providing financial literacy to residents of Northeast Florida. In her spare time she enjoys running, spinning, reading, music, the beach and hanging out with her children.
