Program: Ann-Marie Knight, UF Health Jacksonville
Ann-Marie serves as Vice President, Community Engagement and Chief Diversity Officer, UF Health Jacksonville where she partners with physician and administrative leaders to develop activities where UF Health Jacksonville can contribute to the community’s wellness through collaboration and outreach. Prior to this role, Ms. Knight served as Director, for Community Engagement and Diversity and Inclusion, Mayo Clinic Florida. Her seven-year tenure at Mayo Clinic also included serving as Operations Administrator for the Department of Surgery, Critical Care Medicine Unit, Hospital Internal Medicine Unit, and Pharmacy Operations to name a few. With over 19 years of progressive experience in the areas of strategic planning, financial and operations management both in the inpatient and outpatient practice settings, she attributes her professional acumen to her 24 years of Naval Service in which she retired as a seasoned Lieutenant Medical Service Corps Officer.
Ms. Knight serves as the Regent for the American College of Healthcare Executives Northern and Western Florida Chapters and as Vice-Chair, Charter Revision Commission, City of Jacksonville. Her board service also includes membership on the Florida State College of Jacksonville Foundation, the Non-Profit Center of Northeast Florida and the World Affairs Council and she has membership in multiple local professional organizations and non-profit agencies. She is an alumni of Leadership Jacksonville Class of 2016 and Leadership Clay 2007 and served as Chair, Women United for United Way of Northeast. Ms. Knight received both Regent’s and Service Awards from the American College of Healthcare Executives in 2015 and, in 2016, was named a Veteran of Influence by the Jacksonville Business Journal, and was recently named a Women of Distinction by the Girls Scouts of Gateway Council. Ms. Knight’s military decorations include the Meritorious Service Medal, numerous Navy Commendation Medals, Navy Achievement Medals and other metals.
Ann-Marie is married to Garfield Knight and they have two adult children; Javon and Karl.

Spotlight Speaker: Jean Watson, Sweet Repeats
Jean Watson graduated from the University of Richmond with a B.S. degree in Business Administration. Jean’s initial work years were in the financial sector however she quickly realized that the corporate world was not for her. With her business degree and an interest in fashion and a desire to be a business owner, she decided to open a women’s clothing consignment shop. Sweet Repeats was the first upscale consignment shop in Jacksonville.
Over the years, Jean has balanced being a hands-on business owner with community involvement. Some of the organizations she has participated in as a volunteer include: Hospice of NE Florida, March of Dimes, Junior League of Jacksonville. Jean has also used her business as a platform to organize and implement community projects such as food and toy collections for charitable causes. Jean has also presented fashion shows to benefit non-profit organizations.
On days off, Jean enjoys playing on a tennis team for Epping Forest and traveling with her husband of 20 years. Their favorite companion is Millie a 3-year-old West Highland Terrier!
