Program: April Murdaugh, Woman to Woman Financial
April D. Murdaugh is a Financial Professional Woman To Woman Financial in Jacksonville, Florida. Her practice helps women and their families create and grow generational wealth.
She is passionate about financial literacy and has taught financial education programs in churches, libraries, and private organizations in both South Carolina and Florida. In 2015, she founded a non-profit organization, The Economic Empowerment Center, Inc., dedicated to providing financial education programs for high school and college students.
Her signature workshop, The Five Biggest Mistakes Women Make with Money outlines the many financial struggles she’s had managing her finances to help eliminate the stigma and shame many women feel about their financial situation in hopes of getting them to act.
April has a background as a college administrator and full-time professor of Business, Finance, and Logistics. She has a Bachelor of Arts degree from St. John’s University, a Master of Science degree from Southern Wesleyan University, and a Doctor of Education from Nova Southeastern University.
She is a the Programs Chair for the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisers (NAIFA)-Jacksonville, Florida Chapter; a member of the Jacksonville Chamber of Commerce; a board member of the Professional Women’s Council of the Jax Chamber (PWC); a board member of Women Business Owners of North Florida (WBONFL); Advisory Board Member of the Barco Newton YMCA; and President of The American Business Women’s Association-Orange Park Chapter.
In her spare time, she enjoys reading, music, running, kayaking, and hiking.

Reservations are held until 11:45 a.m. Then we allow those on the waitlist to use the empty seats. No refunds. If you are having problems with the payment process, please let us know in our contact form.
