PWC is supporting Renewing Dignity, a nonprofit that helps provide period  Supplies to women and girls who cannot afford them. Nearly 100,000 women and girls in Northeast Florida fit into that category. We are asking everyone to bring period supplies to meetings throughout all of March and April. They will be collected by Jan Healy, executive director of renewing dignity, on April 21. Learn more about Renewing Dignity.


Program Speakers:

Councilwoman Randy DeFoor

Randy DeFoor is Senior Vice President and National Agency Counsel for Fidelity National Financial, a fortune 500 company. She earned her bachelor’s degree from the University of the South, Sewanee and JD degree from Cumberland School of Law. Randy served as a commissioner of the Jacksonville Economic Development Commission from 2006-2012. She recently served as the chair of the Jacksonville International Airport Community Redevelopment Area. She served as a trustee on the boards of Episcopal School of Jacksonville for twelve years and Riverside Presbyterian day school for eight years. Randy was appointed by Governor Scott to the District Board of Trustees for Florida State College at Jacksonville for four years where she formerly served as Chair. She also serves on the Women’s Board of Wolfson Children’s Hospital, the Cathedral Arts Project and the Innocence Project of Florida. Randy and her husband have six grown children and two grandchildren.

Jan HealyJan Healey, Renewing Dignity

Jan founded Renewing Dignity, Inc. in 2019 to provide period products to women and girls that struggle to afford these essential supplies – a critical and overlooked need in our community and throughout the United States. Jan is also a Founding member of the Women’s Giving Alliance and currently serves as the President. She is an active member of the Beaches Community Fund. Prior Board Member commitments include The Bolles School Trustee, Jacksonville Zoo and Gardens, Planned Parenthood, Read USA, Discovery Montessori School and Hubbard House. Jan was a Take Stock in Children Mentor for eight years and is a member of Leadership Jacksonville (Class of 1996). She has chaired many community fundraising events.

Jan was employed as a financial analyst with The Shircliff Group (Jacksonville, FL) and as a consultant with Arthur Andersen (Miami, FL). She earned her degrees from the University of Florida with a BSBA in Business Administration and an MBA.

She and her husband, Chuck Hyman, are proud of their two adult children. They are long term residents of Atlantic Beach where they live with their faithful golden retriever, Murphy.

Have a dietary restriction or preference? Let us know when you register. Please add a comment in the note section if you need a special meal like Gluten-free or Vegan/Vegetarian. We can only accommodate special meal requests for online ticket orders, not at the door.

Advanced Online Registration:
ONLINE REGISTRATION CLOSES AT NOON ON TUESDAY PRIOR TO THE EVENT.
After 12:00 p.m., the price is $27 for both members and guests at the door.

Reservations are held until 11:45 a.m. Then we allow those on the waitlist to use the empty seats. No refunds. If you are having problems with the payment process, please let us know in our contact form.

As always, guests are welcome to attend. After two visits we do encourage you to join PWC and the JAX Chamber to continue attending events.

JAX Chamber’s utmost concern is for the health and safety of our members and staff. We will adhere to the recommendations of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
