Community Involvement Committee

The purpose of the Community Involvement Committee is to provide the members of PWC with opportunities to give back to the community as well as raise public awareness of the Council.

The levels of participation include:PWC-red-white-blue

  • Active service – Working with causes that the committee selects by donating time, talent or money. Some examples include organizing, setting up and assisting women in a clothing drive for underprivileged women who are job seekers.
  • Passive service – Donating food, clothing or money in lieu of doing actual work. A perfect example is a Thanksgiving food drive.

PWC does a number of varied and fun events and activities throughout the year, serving a wide population in Jacksonville. Our projects largely benefit women and our intention is to make a difference while bringing PWC members together in fun and service.

To join the committee, please contact Jamie Glavich by email or at 904-731-4002.
