Christina is a graduate of Stetson University and has been a banking professional for 23 years. She quickly climbed the ranks to become a banking manager responsible for growing her company’s business and expanding their bottom line.
Among her accomplishments is the successful expansion of her former bank’s franchise in the Jacksonville market, including launching a new branch office that quickly achieved profitability and built a loyal client base. Christina currently manages the Deerwood Park office for Ameris Bank. Ameris started in 1971 and has always stood for strength and courage; pride and fierce determination. This represented with our lion symbol being a central part of our brand. With over $16 Billion in assets we service customer across the Southeast and Mid-Atlantic. Christina enjoys most the opportunity to meet with local business owners to learn about their operations and finds the time and money-saving solutions to meet their ongoing needs.
Christina has been part of the Chamber for the last 15 years and is on the board of the Professional Women’s Council and is active in her church being part of the Women’s Ministry Team as well as a Deacon. She has been happily married for 20 years and has 2 children ages 14 and 11. Her hobbies include gardening and spending time with her family.
Amy is a South Georgia native who grew up in a small coastal city of St. Simons Island. She attended both Georgia Southern University and Flagler College studying marketing and elementary education.
It was when she began working for hotels & resorts during college, that Amy found her true calling to the hospitality industry. Working at elite hotels such as Ocean Hammock Resort & Sawgrass Marriott, Amy was able to hone in on her love of the food and beverage industry. Her passion for food, wine, and service eventually led her to complete the 1st Level of the Master Sommelier program. Eventually, she was able to combine both her knowledge in marketing, hospitality and food and beverage and became the Sales Manager for Season 52 and currently works as the Group + Event Dining Manager for Bonefish Grill.
Bonefish Grill has given Amy tremendous support in her community involvement with the Chamber of Commerce. As a mother of three children, it is considered her mission to continually step out of her comfort zone to support her community, family, and friends and to teach her children that no goal is out of reach.

Eva loves the Professional Women’s Council (PWC). She has been a member for over ten years, has served on the PWC board for eight of those years in various positions including president during 2009-2010 and treasurer from 2012-2014. Elizabeth is a Sea Island, Georgia Native who followed the sun to Florida by way of North Carolina. Elizabeth has been in marketing for over sixteen years in various organizations and has helped in both the non-profit and for-profit sectors. She loves to share the impact Phi is making on our community and environment as well as helping to change the health and wellness industry standards. She lives in Ponte Vedra Beach with her husband, two kids, English Mastiff, Bearded Dragon, and Chinchilla. Elizabeth is an avid gardener (even attends local markets to sell her goods!) and loves to be outside.
When not busy with her family and work, Elizabeth is volunteering with the American Lung Association, the Saint Johns County School Advisory Council, and loves her role with Hospitality and Community Involvement within the PWC.
During Tangee’s extensive career, she has worked her way up the ranks from a Customer Service Representative for a check acceptance company to an Account Executive working with wholesale and retail merchants. She brings experience to process their non-cash transactions, including credit cards, gift cards, electronic check acceptance and selling ATMs and POS equipment.
A graduate of Bethune-Cookman University in Daytona Beach, FL, Tangee has a degree in psychology. Her real passion, however, is sales. From resolving customer inquiries as a customer service rep to training other sales reps, Tangee is highly skilled at what she does.
Outside of work, Tangee loves gardening and spending time with her furry companion, Oreo. She is also an avid Jacksonville Jaguar fan and has been a season ticket holder since the inception of the team. Serving her community is important to Tangee. She is the President of the Ft. Caroline Hills II HOA and the President of the Beaches Business Association, which raises funds for high school scholarships and supports the betterment of Jacksonville Beaches community.
Dawn is an Army brat who grew up all over this country and spent four years in Germany, where her father was stationed. Her parents both attended Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa, as did many others in her family. She attended the University of Iowa, Palmer College of Chiropractic, as well as Rhode Island College.
As a massage therapist of 22 years, Dawn helped many people with their health. She is an herbalist, health coach, and single mom to two teenagers. She backpacked through Europe for a year with her two daughters, then decided to move to Florida to help her sister open Slainte Chiropractic in Jacksonville Beach.
Dawn’s goal is to open an herbal apothecary where she will help people learn more natural ways to take care of their health.

Jean Watson is the owner and founder of Sweet Repeats Consignment Shop. She opened the Shop before consignment shopping was considered a “cool thing to do”.
According to Jean, you no longer needed a luxury budget in order to have a great wardrobe. The merchandise that comes in to be consigned is scrutinized for quality, condition and style ensuring that the Shop is filled with awesome inventory! Sweet Repeats carries ladies clothing ranging from trendy to traditional styles and sizes range from 0 to 16. In addition to clothing, Sweet Repeats also has a great selection of designer handbags, shoes and accessories. Jean frequently goes to “market” to stock the store with trendy jewelry thereby making Sweet Repeats a one-stop-shopping experience. The inventory changes daily so customers are encouraged to shop often to get great items at great prices!
Over the years, Jean has used the Shop as a platform to get involved with her community. She has done fashion shows as fundraisers for many organizations such as: Dreams Come True, Solace for the Children, Hadassah, Christian Family Chapel. Jean has also organized and implemented community projects such as Sweet Repeats becoming a drop-off site on many occasions for the collection and distribution of supplies after natural disasters,” cell phones for soldiers”, toys for needy children as well as clothing for the needy.
Jean balances being a hands-on-business owner with involvement in professional organizations: Professional Women’s Council, Women Business Owners, Jacksonville Junior League and Fashion Group International.
In her spare time, Jean enjoys being on the tennis team at Epping Forest Yacht Club, traveling with her husband of twenty years and playing with “Millie” their 2 yr old West Highland terrier!

Chelle Thomas is the Director of Client Relations for Rock Solid Law and has excelled in sales and marketing since 2000 after graduating from Georgia Southern University. Chelle also has been licensed for the last 15 years as a Real Estate Agent, now referring to both Georgia and Florida.
She is proud to serve on the Jacksonville Chamber of Commerce board for the Professional Women’s Council. She is also happy to be the membership chair and co-chair of Women Connecting Women for 2020. Chelle was honored to be a participant in the Class of 2020 for Lifework Leadership First Coast.

Karen Howell is the Corporate Sales Manager for The Embassy Suites Jacksonville Baymeadows. She has worked predominantly in Hospitality since she graduated from Georgia Southern University in 1996.
Karen joined PWC in 2018 and is co-chair of the Hospitality Committee. She gives back to her community by volunteering at various city events throughout the year.
Karen, originally a Louisiana native, has 3 beautiful children ranging from 18 to 9 yrs old and a wonderful husband of 21 years. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her friends & family, walking the beach, a good book and a glass of wine.
Wendy has lived in the Jacksonville area since 1984 and works as a Realtor®, representing sellers and buyers in the Jacksonville, Orange Park, and St. Johns areas.
One of the things she enjoys most about her career is the opportunity to educate people about what is going on in the real estate market. It gives her the ability to help others connect to resources and services they might need, which include learning about establishing and growing a business here in the Northeast Florida area.
Wendy has a Bachelor’s in Sociology and a Masters in Criminal Justice and values continuing education. She has obtained several designations which include: CRS (Certified Residential Specialist), GRI (Graduate Realtor Institute), SFR (Short Sale Foreclosure), E-Pro, Stager, and At Home with Diversity. Maria Inoa is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, public speaker, and owner of Full Potential Counseling in Jacksonville, Florida where she provides both in-person and online counseling. She specializes in working with women to build healthier relationships with themselves and others. She is passionate about helping women heal from trauma, and as such, is trained in EMDR therapy (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing). Working as a top producer for Fred Miller Group Realty specializing in single-family homes and Historic areas, Gretchen met the partners, Chris & Carter Funk who would soon become SunCoast Property Management founders.
During her tenure at SunCoast Property Management, she held the positions of Sales Team Manager and Acquisitions Director. From there, she along with Chris created Southern Impression Homes and she was at the helm as Director of New Construction.
Starting in 2015 Gretchen took on yet another exciting venture as Director of Short-Term Rentals for SunCoast Property Management’s exciting new division, SunCoast Beach Vacations.
