Meet Christina

Christina is a graduate of Stetson University and has been a banking professional for 22 years. She quickly climbed the ranks to become a banking manager responsible for growing her company’s business and expanding their bottom line.

Among her accomplishments is the successful expansion of her former bank’s franchise in the Jacksonville market, including launching a new branch office that quickly achieved profitability and built a loyal client base. Christina currently manages the Town Center office for Fidelity Bank. Fidelity is one of the largest bank holding companies based in Atlanta with $4.5 Billion in assets and over 1,400 employees and is most proud of its continued commitment to customer service and the Golden Rule which has led to 65 retail branches throughout Georgia and Florida. Christina enjoys most the opportunity to meet with local business owners to learn about their operations and finds the time and money-saving solutions to meet their ongoing needs.

Christina has been part of the Chamber for the last 15 years and is on the board of the Professional Women’s Council and is active in her church being part of the Women’s Ministry Team as well as a Deacon. She has been happily married for 19 years and has 2 children ages 13 and 10. Her hobbies include gardening and spending time with family.

Amy is a South Georgia native who grew up in a small coastal city of St. Simons Island.  She attended both Georgia Southern University and Flagler College studying marketing and elementary education.

It was when she began working for hotels & resorts during college, that Amy found her true calling to the hospitality industry.  Working at elite hotels such as Ocean Hammock Resort & Sawgrass Marriott, Amy was able to hone in on her love of the food and beverage industry. Her passion for food, wine, and service eventually led her to complete the 1st Level of the Master Sommelier program. Eventually, she was able to combine both her knowledge in marketing, hospitality and food and beverage and became the Sales Manager for Season 52 and currently works as the Group + Event Dining Manager for Bonefish Grill.

Bonefish Grill has given Amy tremendous support in her community involvement with the Chamber of Commerce.  As a mother of three children, it is considered her mission to continually step out of her comfort zone to support her community, family, and friends and to teach her children that no goal is out of reach.

Christine holds a bachelor’s degree in public relations with a minor in community leadership from the University of North Florida. In her free time, she enjoys teaching painting classes, international travel, and volunteering at the Jacksonville Humane Society.

Candles, flowers, sappy romantic movies, George Strait, front porch swings, and most importantly, her family make her world go around. She’s a huge dog lover, just ask her about her favorite dog park. She’s a Floridian, born and raised. So, sitting on the beach with her toes in the sand is her idea of heaven; or pretty close.  

She learned at a young age about the world of finance. When her 2nd-grade teacher introduced her to the coin savings booklets, a financial professional was born. She’s been working with small businesses and individuals for over 20 years, helping them prepare for that rainy day.

As a Financial Professional Associate with Prudential Advisors she works with her clients no matter where they are in life – just starting out, providing for a family, or planning for retirement. Creating a strategy that helps them meet their goals and overcome challenges – having a clear financial path helps them have confidence in the future.

Denise has been married to her best friend, J.R., for over 30 years. They have two beautiful daughters, two great sons-in-law, and one very special granddaughter.

Snowden received her BA from Vassar College and her Masters of Arts in Teaching from Brown University.

 As co-founder of the non-profit group “Success for Women Entrepreneurs” in NH, Snowden’s volunteer work led to national media attention. The Small Business Administration named her National Women in Business Advocate of the Year which led to a White House ceremony & Congressional luncheon in her honor.

Meet Lauren

As a native to Jacksonville, Dr. Lauren Cost graduated from Stanton College Preparatory School and then went on to the University of Central Florida where she majored in CardioPulmonary Sciences.

When Dr. Lauren was younger, she underwent 4 back surgeries but none of her surgeries ever gave her relief. She discovered Chiropractic and her pain was gone very soon after! Dr. Lauren has been trained as a birth doula, is Webster Technique certified, and has an extra 400 hours of training with the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association. She is considered an expert in this field and will be the second Chiropractor in NE Florida with this training. She works very closely with other doulas, OBs, midwives, lactation consultants, and childbirth educators. While babies and pregnant moms are her favorites, she sees many men and elderly patients in the office. She feels honored to serve her hometown and looks forward to serving you, your family, and all of your friends.

Meet Lisa

Lisa Anderson Harris is a country girl from Indianola, MS.  Lisa received her Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Computer Science from Mississippi Valley State University in Itta Bena MS.

She continued her education obtaining a Master’s Degree in Religious Arts/Christian Counseling from Logos Christian College in Jacksonville, FL.  Currently, she is a candidate for the Doctor of Ministry degree from Logos Christian College.

After spending over 14 years as Director of Human Resources for a local staffing service, Lisa joined forces with the City Rescue Mission as Lead Women’s Counselor.  She then went on to become the Director of Financial Planning for an Atlanta-based finance group.

Lisa is now working as an Office Manager for Health Pointe Jacksonville Acupuncture Wellness Clinic which offers a wide variety of Massage Therapies, Thai Yoga Stretching, and Infrared Sauna Treatments in addition to Acupuncture to help you feel and function better.

She volunteers at several Florida state prisons; serves on the Executive Board as Secretary for the Jacksonville AYF Football & Cheer Conference and as a committee leader with the BW Project.  Aside from all that has been mentioned, Lisa is probably most proud to serve as a minister of gospel for the kingdom of God. Lisa was licensed to the Gospel Ministry in May 2005 after dutifully completing the 3-year Ministers’ Training curriculum.  In October 2008, Lisa was ordained into Christian Ministry as an Elder under Logos Global Network and The Church Fellowship Worship Ministries.  Lisa currently serves on the ministerial staff at Open Arms Christian Fellowship under the leadership of Bishop Leofric W. Thomas, Sr.

Final mention must be made of Lisa’s doting husband, Roosevelt Harris, Jr.  The two have shared 30 years of marriage together.

Rachel is a Jacksonville, FL native who was born & raised in the Mandarin area. After graduating with her bachelor’s in communications from UNF, Rachel went on to work at The CSI Companies, a national staffing and recruiting agency headquartered near the Jacksonville Town Center. Over her 3+ years with CSI, Rachel has progressed from Recruiter to Account Manager for the VP of Sales, to her role now as an Account Executive in charge of Business Development for CSI Health. Rachel works with healthcare organizations and hospitals across the country to staff for clinical & non-clinical positions – anything ranging from a Customer Service Representative to a Registered Nurse and all things in between. Her focus is to help her clients find the right employees for their individual needs, no matter what that is!

In her free time, Rachel enjoys traveling with her husband, spending time with family & friends, and boating any chance she gets!

Wendy has lived in the Jacksonville area since 1984 and works as a Realtor®, representing sellers and buyers in the Jacksonville, Orange Park, and St. Johns areas.

One of the things she enjoys most about her career is the opportunity to educate people about what is going on in the real estate market. It gives her the ability to help others connect to resources and services they might need, which include learning about establishing and growing a business here in the Northeast Florida area.

Wendy has a Bachelor’s in Sociology and a Masters in Criminal Justice and values continuing education. She has obtained several designations which include: CRS (Certified Residential Specialist), GRI (Graduate Realtor Institute), SFR (Short Sale Foreclosure), E-Pro, Stager, and At Home with Diversity. Wendy also had the honor of being named Small Business Leader of the Year for Jax Chamber South Council in 2016 and has always been an active member of PWC.

Jean Watson is the owner and founder of Sweet Repeats Consignment Shop. She opened the Shop before consignment shopping was considered a “cool thing to do”.

According to Jean, you no longer needed a luxury budget in order to have a great wardrobe.  The merchandise that comes in to be consigned is scrutinized for quality, condition and style ensuring that the Shop is filled with awesome inventory! Sweet Repeats carries ladies clothing ranging from trendy to traditional styles and sizes range from 0 to 16. In addition to clothing, Sweet Repeats also has a great selection of designer handbags, shoes and accessories.  Jean frequently goes to “market”  to stock the store with trendy jewelry thereby making Sweet Repeats a one-stop-shopping experience.  The inventory changes daily so customers are encouraged to shop often to get great items at great prices!

Over the years, Jean has used the Shop as a platform to get involved with her community.  She has done fashion shows as fundraisers for many organizations such as: Dreams Come True, Solace for the Children, Hadassah, Christian Family Chapel. Jean has also organized and implemented community projects such as Sweet Repeats becoming a drop-off site on many occasions for the collection and distribution of supplies after natural disasters,” cell phones for soldiers”, toys for needy children as well as clothing for the needy.

Jean balances being a hands-on-business owner with involvement in professional organizations: Professional Women’s Council, Women Business Owners, Jacksonville Junior League and Fashion Group International.

In her spare time, Jean enjoys being on the tennis team at Epping Forest Yacht Club, traveling with her husband of twenty years and playing with “Millie” their 2 yr old West Highland terrier!

Dr. April D. Murdaugh is a Financial Professional with Bold New City Financial in Jacksonville, Florida.  She works with women to help eliminate the stress, overwhelm confusion and worry about their financial future.  She has provided financial education workshops for women, high school and college students since 2004 in both Columbia, SC and Jacksonville, FL.  Her signature workshop The 5 Biggest Mistakes Women Make With Money helps women understand the most impactful financial mistakes and provides reasonable solutions.

Her passion for financial services is a result of her losing everything in her life three times as well as experiencing homelessness 2012 in Clay County Florida.

She is also the founder of The Economic Empowerment Center, a 501c3 non-profit organization that provides financial education to high school and college students.

She is a single mom of four children.  In her spare time, she loves running, exercising, popcorn, and trash television shows.

Kaci is originally from South Carolina and a proud graduate of the University of South Carolina.  Since she moved to Jacksonville in 2014, she has worked in both the non-profit and for-profit sectors for various organizations.  Kaci joined the staff of VyStar Credit Union as their Community Liaison in 2019.  Her role includes community engagement, relationship building, and creating new opportunities for VyStar to work with local non-profit organizations.
