About the Professional Women’s Council
The Professional Women’s Council (PWC) offers an opportunity for businesswomen to connect at a personal level. Although this council is not just for women, the focus is on elevating women in the workforce. PWC prides itself on relationship development among members and bringing in top speakers to educate and inform members about key topics. There are many opportunities to get to know members through meetings, socials, and community involvement projects. “Women Connecting Women” is the Council’s annual signature event.
The PWC meets on the first and third Wednesday of every month.
The first Wednesday meeting of the month takes place at 11:30 a.m., Maggiano’s Little Italy, and will feature a guest speaker. The pre-registered cost is $35 for PWC members, $38 for non-members, and $45 for all at the door.
The third Wednesday meeting of the month will be a happy hour for members and guests to network at various locations. The cost is $20.

Small Business Leader of the Year
Want to nominate someone?
A nominee must:
- Be a member of the JAX Chamber in good standing
- Be an owner, partner or shareholder of at least 25 percent of the business
- Be active in the day-to-day management of the company
- Be established locally in the same business for at least three years
- Demonstrate professional business acumen and leadership
- Have gross revenues of less than 5 million dollars per year for the previous three years

The annual PWC’s Women Connecting Women event brings women in the community together to connect with various women’s organizations in our area, personal growth, and non profits exposure.
